I Don't know, but maybe Chris is someone I need to speak with. I live in Raleigh and have a 94' base that I'm trying to swap a VR4 motor into. I called 3SX and spoke with someone in the service department who said he had done it before. He quoted me a price of $2600, everything included, sans motor. He then directed me to the parts department to price the motor. The guy at the parts department said he could sell me a 100K 94' VR4 motor for $3100, then immediately asked me did I need a new transmission to go with it. I explained to him what I was trying to do and he said " oooohhh well I'm guessing you could get away with it". Obviously I'm skeptical. 3SX is a great company, as I've ordered numerous parts from them before, but 6K isn't $400. Can anyone here tell me if it's safe, durability-wise, to swap only the motor? Is there any way for me to run low 14's, without NOS, for less money? Currently my car runs 15.2 @90mph. Thank you

Please start a separate thread in the Turbo section for your question as it is off topic for this thread.
