Main thing I would worry about is if you're gonna be able to get it in the car and driven a reasonable amount within their warranty period. I've heard these engines are 50-50. But that's just what I heard. Almost considered one myself, when I thought I was gonna have time and money for a project car (and, of course, now I don't).

Eh, but I bought this car thinking about how much fun it would be as a project. So the hassle's not really a very big deal for me. Besides, it'd end up costing me more to buy a VR-4 that would be in good enough condition to DD than it would to fix this car up. AND, I've grown quite attached to her  |
