Unnecessary lights abound!
Okay, so here's the rough explanation.
Too broke to buy parts for my car until I get my van sold. So, decided to use some of the computer parts I have laying around to mod my computer.
Removed my non-working floppy drive, and mounted my hard drives where it was. Removed the floppy cover on my faceplate, and the empty expansion bay below it. Modded my case so I could mount a custom rainbow LED fan in front of my hard drives. Looks pretty bad ass at night time.
Pics:

After that, I took some old blue LEDs that came with an Alienware case that is now destroyed (thanks to my whore mother) and mounted them on the side of the case with hot glue (just like they were in the Alienware case) so that they shine out of the side vents.
Pic:

And last but not least, I mounted a custom CPU cooling fan to my AMD 2400+ processor, that looks a little like this:

But in reality, is this:

And, in all honesty, when I turn the little knob up to kick the cooling fan up, it really does sound like a jet engine.
Hope you enjoyed my lameness.

I got the cooling fan for my CPU for like three bucks at the flea market. That place is amazing.
I would have modified the fan so it only glowed blue, but that one was all I had. So I worked with it. It actually looks pretty sick shining out the bottom of the vents on the front of my case. I'm just working on figuring out a way to seal up the gap between my case and my faceplate without looking ghetto.

I considered duct tape...
But I think I'm going to go with plastic epoxy, and do it like fiberglass work, just pushing it into the cracks. We'll see.
